Hidden agenda: VOLA

The foundation for this was laid by Jacobsen’s decision to conceal the mechanical parts of his designs — a prime example being the 111 family of mixers, handles, spouts and plates — and create a range that was flexible. This in turn has ensured the longevity of VOLA’s products which, widely used in the 1960s, are still specified today. Available in myriad finishes, some deliciously colourful, others with unique metallic finishes, they offer consumers limitless creative scope. Each VOLA product is made to order, further reinforcing this much prized individuality.

Watch out for the other films charting VOLA’s fascinating past, present and future, to be released this year. As people increasingly crave personalised products, VOLA’s future looks very bright, very assured.
